{"Job Title": "Soft Landscaping and Maintenance Manager", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Soft Landscaping and Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams on a daily basis to ensure they work safely and maintain high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage teams to ensure they work safely and maintain high standards of work
* Identify and resolve site problems, complaints, or difficulties
* Manage subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, to agreed standards, and are profitable
* Raise and update maintenance schedules in line with contract, BoQ, specification, and drawings
* Organize labor resources to get the job done efficiently
* Manage staff, including behavior, workload, quality, tasking, hours worked, holiday, sickness, and absenteeism
* Complete probation reviews and annual staff appraisals
* Provide cover for supervisors and team leaders when needed
* Ensure supervisors, chargehands/foremen carry out their jobs correctly
* Supervise staff to ensure they work safely and complete daily activity briefings, toolbox talks, and daily plant checks
* Ensure staff are trained and competent before being given a task
* Raise and submit monthly maintenance reports for all sites to clients and the ops manager
* Keep the ops and commercial manager informed of any site damage or contractual issues
* Liaise with allocated clients to maintain a high level of communication
* Attend managers, department, and client meetings as required
* Raise quotes for extra work with the client
* Order materials required for works
* Manage and maintain allocated vehicles and machinery
* Produce and update method statements and site-specific risk assessments
* Carry out monthly SHEQ audits
* Organize summer watering schedules, labor, bowsers, standpipes, and standpipe licenses
* Organize winter drain down and spring start-up on irrigation systems
* Run grounds maintenance contracts profitably
* Raise a master GM work schedule
* Ensure GM contracts do not suffer excessive plant and tree defects
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure GM machinery is well maintained
* Check GM staff spray books monthly
* Keep GM stores and pesticide stores tidy
* Organize staff parking in London
* Assist in managing small construction soft landscaping projects
* Assist the company in complying with carbon reduce policies, targets, and objectives

* Experience in commercial construction
