We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager / Surveyor to join our team in the South West Region. Our ideal candidate will have a background in surveying and scoping insurance claim repair projects, with experience in overseeing trades and sub-contractors within a property repairs environment.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Liaising with policyholders, insurers, and trades to ensure smooth project execution
  • Conducting site visits to survey and produce a scope of works
  • Allocating the correct trades and materials
  • Supervising larger works and conducting on-site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety and good working practices
  • Supervising direct trades/sub-contractors on projects
  • Providing updates and reports on project progress
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of works at all times

What skills and experience will you need?

  • A background in surveying and scoping insurance claim repair projects
  • Experience in overseeing trades and sub-contractors within a property repairs environment (insurance repairs) and managing the financial and SLA elements of the project
  • An excellent knowledge of trades and relevant costs within this industry and the ability to produce an accurate schedule of works
  • Ideal experience with insurance systems/scoping tools and comfort using Excel
  • A full UK driving licence (vehicle options available)

Package details

In addition to the Contracts Manager / Surveyor salary (negotiable dependent upon experience around £42k - £52k) plus company vehicle/ar allowance, you will have options available in respect of a car, van, or allowance.
