Our client, a Building Contractor, is seeking a skilled Desktop Surveyor to join their insurance claim repairs division. As a Desktop Surveyor, you will work on insurance company contracts, reviewing reports, information, and photos of damage to properties, and preparing scopes of work for reinstatement repairs following an insurance claim.

The ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance of the office, preferably in the South West area, Bath, Bristol, Taunton, Yeovil, or surrounding areas. As a Desktop Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing surveys, reports, photos, and videos to prepare estimates and costs
  • Preparing scopes of work
  • Updating the company system and client portals
  • Dealing with variation orders and approving as necessary
  • Liaising with policyholders, loss adjusters, and insurance companies
