About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Domestic Supervisor to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of domestic staff to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Work closely with Team Leaders to ensure effective management of housekeeping teams and services.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintenance of facilities.

Requirements

  • Experience of supervising a team in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
