Talent Acquisition Specialist

Based in Ripon, we are seeking a skilled Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organisation, working closely with the Group HR Manager to maintain an up-to-date Recruitment Strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating job descriptions and job adverts for all roles to support business growth.
  • Facilitating relationships with future talent and maintaining talent pools to ensure quick fulfilment of vacancies.
  • Providing support for local careers fairs and other industry events to aid recruitment campaigns.
  • Screening all incoming CVs, distributing them to the appropriate hiring manager, and providing feedback accordingly.
  • Arranging interviews, providing guidance, and attending interviews as required.
  • Keeping all recruitment documentation up to date and issued in a timely way.
  • Negotiating offers to candidates or their agents and issuing all required paperwork, completing any pre-employment checks.
  • Responsible for the onboarding process for all new starters, including all paperwork, right-to-work checks, setting up on HR systems, and access to relevant systems.
  • Liaising with line managers on new starter inductions and training requirements and supporting with completing the probationary review meetings.
  • Providing other HR generalist administrative support to the business as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • CIPD level 3 or above is desirable.
