Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits and complete reports to monitor compliance with quality management systems such as BRCGS, SALSA, and ISO9001.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide guidance on food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures to production staff.
  • Manage calibration schedules for equipment and assist with updates to quality system documents.
  • Prepare and submit lab samples, log lab results, and update trend charts and reports.
  • Carry out label compliance checks and provide support to the Compliance Manager as needed.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of working within a quality management system (QMS) or holding health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and other stakeholders.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
