Job Description

VIVOTEK EMEA is looking for an experienced Presales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of our projects in the EMEA region.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects closely, focusing on solving technical difficulties from start to finish.
  • Handle presales and post-sales technical inquiries from customers, including distributors and key accounts.
  • Provide technical assistance and system-level designs to help customers achieve optimal project solutions.
  • Participate in customer visits, roadshows, and exhibitions to promote VIVOTEK Solutions.
  • Offer onsite support for proof-of-concept demonstrations and engage in actual site surveys.
  • Troubleshoot issues remotely and onsite.
  • Work collaboratively with our EMEA sales team and serve as a bridge between HQ technical personnel and customers.
  • Assist in integrating our products into 3rd party partner systems.
  • Provide technical training to distributors' engineers and system integrators.
  • Develop and test sales kits for our latest products and technology.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:



  • A Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as computer science, electronics, communications, or information engineering.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Presales/Field Application Engineer/Technical Support in the Security Video Surveillance market, preferably with IP camera manufacturers.
  • Native-level English language proficiency, with excellent reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
