Caring Support Worker

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Caring Support Worker. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with children who have special educational needs (SEN), particularly those with mental health issues. The successful candidate will work in a supportive school environment, providing exceptional care and education to children aged 4-16.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents, and have a keen interest in child development and mental health. As a Caring Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children who have come from challenging backgrounds, including trauma, neglect, ADHD, and Autism, and require additional support to improve their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in providing individualized support to children with SEN
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, teachers, and parents
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
