About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to residents across a 20-mile radius.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering person-centred care and support to help residents achieve their full potential.
  • Monitoring care delivery and contributing to person-centred care planning.
  • Recording observations and maintaining accurate records.

In addition, you will provide support and companionship to residents, facilitate meaningful one-to-one time, and contribute to a positive and supportive care environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in care and a Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
  • A good understanding of elderly care and the wider healthcare industry.
  • GCSE C or above in English and Maths.
  • Dedication and compassion, with a passion for people and ability to support resident wellbeing.
  • Access to your own car or alternative transportation.
