About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join our team at GSL Education.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide 1:1 Support: Focus on the unique learning needs and personal development of pupils with ASD.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Implement effective behaviour strategies and individualised learning plans.
  • Facilitate Small Group Activities: Promote social interaction and communication skills.
  • Safeguarding and Inclusion: Uphold the school's values and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Ideal Candidate Profile:



  • Previous Experience: Working with students with ASD or in a special educational needs setting.
  • Adaptable Approach: Patient, proactive, and able to adapt to the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Safeguarding Commitment: Promote the welfare of children.

Essential Requirements:



  • Right to Work: In the UK, with an updated CV and two recent references.
  • DBS Registration: Enhanced with the update service or willingness to apply.
