About the Role:

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a fast-paced picking operation and supporting the shift manager in engaging with the team and reacting to varying inbound workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Support the shift manager in conducting 1-2-1's and appraisals to ensure team members are performing at their best
  • Collaborate with the shift manager to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Flexibility to support the team and shift manager as needed
