Playwork Development Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner apprentice. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment, building relationships with children and parents, and taking initiative to plan engaging activities. This role is ideal for those who love working with children, are committed to their development, and are enthusiastic about creating a joyful space that supports children's growth and happiness.
Training and SupportThe apprenticeship includes a blended approach to learning, combining virtual classrooms, webinars, work-based tasks, and online assignments. Candidates will have access to an online platform (BUD) for learning, reflection, and portfolio building. One-to-one support and tuition from an apprenticeship tutor will also be provided, including regular meetings and feedback sessions.
Progression OpportunitiesUpon completion of the apprenticeship, candidates will have the opportunity to progress within the company, take on new challenges, and develop their skills and knowledge. Possible career paths include supervisor or manager roles, playwork development officer positions, teaching assistant roles, or self-employment as an after-school club or childcare project owner.
