Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide support to an elderly gentleman within his own home in the Accrington area.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a care environment, understanding of mental health conditions, and be physically and mentally strong to deal with challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with all aspects of personal care, including toileting and bathing.
- Transport our client using specialist equipment due to being bed bound, no hoist is in place.
- Encourage mobility through exercises.
- Prepare meals and feed.
- Perform domestic duties such as laundry and changing bed sheets.
- Drive for this role, so a vehicle and business insurance are required.
Work alongside another PA initially before potentially working independently.
Between 14-20 hours per week, with potential increase for the right candidate.
Competitive hourly rate of £12.00
Must be willing to undertake a DBS check, paid by the employer if necessary.
