Role Overview

Kent County Council is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our West Kent Disabled Children's Team 2. As a member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to provide high-quality support to disabled children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the rights and needs of disabled children and young people.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
  • Be registered with Social Work England.
  • Have post-qualification experience of working with children and/or adults and their families.
