Your Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team. As a Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centred care and support to elderly residents, respecting their autonomy and individuality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Record and maintain accurate information about resident care and progress, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care home or senior care environment is necessary.
- Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Valid driving licence desired for transporting residents when required.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors.
Compensation Package:
$11.84 per hour, 33 hours per week, canteen, discounted or free food, free parking, on-site parking, day shift, overtime, weekend availability, 1 year providing care, 1 year supervisory experience required, 1 year social care experience preferred, driving licence preferred, NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care preferred.
