Special Needs Support Worker

At AD WARRIOR, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Support Worker to join our team. As a Special Needs Support Worker, you will work closely with children between the ages of 2 and 19 who require support with personal care, feeding, administration of medication, and other daily tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with autistic pupils and managing students with challenging behavior. However, full training and induction are provided for the right candidate.
We offer a competitive salary of £16,695 per annum, which is reflective of the school's location in Farnham and the level of experience required for this role. The position entails working 29.25 hours per week during term time only, providing a good work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Toileting, Feeding
- Administration of Medication and Medical Interventions: Gastrostomy Feeds, Suctioning, Trachiostomy
- Management of Challenging Behaviour: Use of Registered and County-Approved Physical Interventions
- Moving and Handling of Pupils/Students: Positioning, Toileting, Therapy Input
- Delivery of the Wider Curriculum: Engaging Children in Play Activities at Break Times, Taking Children Off-Site to Access Community-Based Activities
