Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Specialist to join our team in Barnsley Town Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input relevant data onto our Management Information System (MIS) to meet contractual requirements.
  • Process learner documentation to meet contractual deadlines.
  • Accurately input learner documentation and data into MIS.
  • Data entry and management.
  • Produce management reports from MIS on a weekly basis.
  • Provide necessary reports to other departments and management as required.
  • Liaise with colleagues to process learner registrations and certification.
  • Support timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Maintain reliable and accurate learner records.
  • Close and store learner records securely.
  • Provide day-to-day feedback to the Administrative Services Manager on contract performance.
  • Support internal and external audits within the organisation.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience using PICs or similar MIS systems.
  • Background in a back-office function with a strong customer focus.
  • IT literacy and proficiency.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and organisational development.
  • Analytical skills and ability to evaluate detailed information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Preparing and presenting information.
  • Adaptability in a changing environment.
  • Experience of government-funded programs.

Salary Range: Based on industry standards and the location, we estimate the salary range for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
