Lifting Appliance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Appliance Engineer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of lifts and lifting appliances, ensuring they are safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough examinations and maintenance of Marine Lifts and lifting appliances
  • Operate Safe Systems of Work in compliance with company SHE procedures
  • Diagnose and rectify defects in lifting appliances and associated systems
  • Engage with customers and authorities to discuss technical issues and problems
Requirements:
  • Experience with examinations, maintenance, commissioning, and defect diagnosis of Marine Lifts and lifting appliances
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Mechanical Systems, specifically lifting appliances and lifts, their maintenance, relevant legislation, and inspection requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of maintenance and inspection of Lift appliances
