Lifting Appliance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lifting Appliance Engineer to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the inspection and maintenance of lifts and lifting appliances, ensuring they are safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations and maintenance of Marine Lifts and lifting appliances
  • Operate Safe Systems of Work in compliance with company SHE procedures
  • Diagnose and rectify defects in lifting appliances and associated systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers
  • Engage with customers and authorities to discuss technical issues and problems
  • Produce detailed technical reports

Requirements:

  • Experience with examinations, maintenance, and defect diagnosis of Marine Lifts and lifting appliances
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Mechanical Systems, specifically lifting appliances and lifts
  • Proven experience in maintenance and inspection of Lift appliances
  • Ability to carry out scheduled maintenance, thorough examinations, and fault diagnosis

About the Role:
