Job Summary

The successful candidate will work autonomously, providing care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses. This will involve working alongside a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, and Nurses.

Main Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, manage, prescribe, and discharge patients with illness or injury across all age groups.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and video consultations.
  • Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • A Master's degree or Postgraduate Diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation as a Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber.
  • Meets the standards for registered ANP working at an advanced level, including Minor Illness qualification.
