About the Role

Bryntirion Surgery, a well-established and reputable healthcare provider, is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their close-knit team. As an autonomous practitioner, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with long-term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload, dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, prescribing, and discharging patients with illness or injury across all age groups, including young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage acute presentations and chronic conditions
  • Order appropriate investigations (bloods/radiology) and file pathology results
  • See all age groups, including pregnant women, and deal with mental health presentations
  • Prescribe medications and manage patient care
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Masters degree or Postgraduate diploma or degree for Advanced Practice Qualification or RCN accreditation Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
  • Meets the standards for registered ANP working at advanced level Minor illness qualification
