This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of various service contracts and projects, covering a diverse range of highway electrical infrastructure, including traffic signals, connected mobility solutions, enforcement, and tolling. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple demands and building effective communication across all levels.
As a Contract Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end management of Traffic Signal Installation schemes, manage a mid-sized team, and ensure Health & Safety standards, quality, and project delivery timelines are met. You'll work closely with contractors and supply chain partners to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and safe service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of on-street operatives and supervisors to deliver top-quality service.
- Plan, coordinate, and deploy your team effectively to meet project delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Commercial & Finance teams to manage scheme costs and ensure timely billing and invoicing.
- Produce and manage monthly financial forecasts across a wide range of projects.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to align project delivery and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
- Experience in Project Management, ideally within highways, traffic signals, or Section 278 works.
- Understanding of highway and traffic signal infrastructure is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of Street Works permitting and Traffic Management requirements.
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment legislation (IOSH/NEBOSH).
- Competitive base salary with an annual bonus.
