Job Title: Principal MEP Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal MEP Design Engineer to join our team at Atkore. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our MEP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of MEP solutions, including mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide design solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior design engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design engineering, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of design software, including Inventor, Navisworks, and Revit.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal supervision.
