About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP Design Engineer to join our team at Atkore. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of MEP systems, including conceptual design, detailed design, and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including projects, operations, and quality, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in modern methods of construction, design, and delivery strategies.
  • Conduct finite element analysis and stress analysis to ensure the integrity of our designs.
  • Provide load and stress calculations to support design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of years of experience in MEP design and engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.
  • Strong understanding of modern methods of construction, design, and delivery strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Inventor, Navisworks, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
