Senior Asset Performance Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Battery Engineer to join our Transportation Technologies team in Plymouth, MI.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Battery safety and testing. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of battery performance and safety standards such as UL 1973, IEC 62133, UN 38.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of demonstrated work experience with battery testing, including experience with Automotive (SAE, OEM specific), or International performance and environmental simulation test standards.
Responsibilities include performing testing and evaluation on a variety of products to client-provided or national, international or industry-specific performance and durability standards.
The position requires the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
