About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the condition of EC&I assets within defuel facilities and establishing requirements for system/equipment upgrades, life extension, and replacement. Key duties include:

  • Conducting asset condition surveys and obsolescence studies to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Specifying replacement equipment/components and creating configuration documentation for permanent modifications.
  • Maintaining configuration of technical drawings and documentation to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Supporting fault diagnosis and rectification efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating on the design development of EC&I systems, capturing requirements, and producing maintenance/commissioning documentation.

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will have considerable operational knowledge of EC&I systems, hardware, and software-based systems and equipment. They should possess a sound understanding of relevant industry legislation for electrical systems, particularly functional and machinery safety.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree in an appropriate electrical engineering discipline or significant experience with HNC. Professional registration with an engineering institute is desirable.
