Job Title: IT Hardware and Software Asset Analyst

Job Summary:

UK Power Networks is seeking an IT Hardware and Software Asset Analyst to join our team. As an IT Hardware and Software Asset Analyst, you will be responsible for managing our IT hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Asset Management Database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Resolve discrepancies and anomalies in asset data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate the JML process to ensure efficient and effective management of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Provide support to the IT Hardware and Software Asset Manager in all areas of IT software and hardware asset management.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience working in an IT department with data analytics experience.
  • Experience of managing small projects and gathering requirements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills, especially Excel, TEAMS, and PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM/ITAM processes.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware asset management.
  • Familiarity with software licensing.
  • Familiarity with Service Now and Intune.
