Age UK is seeking a talented individual to join our Chester team as an Assistant Store Manager.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Store Manager in all aspects of the business, guiding and empowering our Sales Assistants and volunteers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's
  • Lead a team of volunteers and staff, delegating tasks and providing coaching and guidance
  • Develop and implement effective retail processes to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Manage time under conflicting priorities, ensuring seamless store operations
  • Utilize IT literacy and numeracy skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
