Age UK is seeking a talented individual to join our Chester team as an Assistant Store Manager.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Store Manager in all aspects of the business, guiding and empowering our Sales Assistants and volunteers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead a team of volunteers and staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success
  • Manage stock and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Develop and implement effective retail processes to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Utilize IT systems and tools to track sales, inventory, and customer data
