Governance Officer Job Description

We are delighted to be representing a prestigious Russell Group University, based in London, who are looking to appoint a temporary Governance Officer on an initial three-month contract.

This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading institution and contribute to its governance functions. As a Governance Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert support to Committees, Subsidiaries Boards, and other Internal Boards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Performing secretarial duties and providing governance assistance to Committees, Subsidiaries Boards, and other Internal Boards
* Directing governance schemes and policies that support effective decision-making across the university
* Supporting the Head of Governance and Legal Services with administrative tasks and record-keeping

Requirements:

* Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
* Ability to write precise records and minutes from meetings
* Conscripting guidance papers on governance necessities, procedures, and values
* Consulting stakeholders on governance matters

Working Hours:

* Monday – Friday (9-5)
