About the GSL Education - Watford Opportunity
As a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development in Harrow. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, as well as leading small group sessions to deliver targeted support to students who require additional help.
We are seeking an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage and engage with students effectively. Previous experience working as a HLTA is essential, and you must be able to adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
Key requirements for this position include:
- Assisting the Class Teacher: Supporting lesson planning, delivery, and assessment tasks.
- Leading Small Group Sessions: Delivering targeted support to students who need extra help.
- Classroom Management: Creating a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adapting Learning Materials: Tailoring resources to meet individual student needs.
- Cover Classes: Teaching classes when required in the teacher's absence.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive daily rate of £90-£110, depending on experience and qualifications.
