We are recruiting an IT Projects Financial Coordinator to work with Merseyside Police on a temporary basis. This role involves monitoring ICT department expenditure, maintaining the register of expenditure against budget, and checking and approving supplier invoices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in invoice processing, knowledge of budgetary procedures, and proficiency in spreadsheet software. They will be numerically and analytically adept, with excellent communication and influencing skills to work with IS Managers and Programme Co-ordinators.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and checking all I.T. Department orders against budgets and invoices against deliveries
- Checking all invoices against orders and resolving anomalies or variations with suppliers
- Managing and maintaining accurate records of departmental expenditure
- Providing forecasts of future expenditure to enable managers to make informed decisions
Estimated salary: £15.29 per hour.
