About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Education Support Professional with Angus Council, supporting children and young people with a range of additional support needs in mainstream and resourced base provision.

You will work directly with children, developing positive and supportive relationships to help them achieve their learning targets. Your role will involve supervising and assisting children throughout the school day, preparing classroom resources and activities under the direction of the teacher.

The successful candidate will have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme and meet the requirements outlined in the job outline and person specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children with their learning targets through positive and supportive relationships
  • Supervise and assist children throughout the school day
  • Prepare classroom resources and activities under the direction of the teacher

Working Arrangements

This position is available on a supply and temporary basis, with options for part-time (minimum 5.5 hours) and full-time (maximum 27.5 hours) contracts worked term time only.

You will be required to indicate your preferred locations and contract type when applying.

Requirements
