Senior Care Assistant - Nights

Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon, part of The Country Court Family, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 28 days holiday (FTE), annual pay reviews, pension contributions, and enhanced bank holiday rates.

About the Role:

  • Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
  • Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs
  • Leading a team of care assistants and planning, allocating, and supervising their work

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant and leading a team
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this
