Feto-Maternal Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Registrar to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Feto-Maternal Medicine Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general obstetric cover, including antenatal and postnatal ward rounds, CS lists, and DAU unit cover.
- Participate in the senior registrar equivalent on-call rota, including night shifts and weekend cover.
- Contribute to the development of a research programme, aligned with the department's research strategy and MFM subspecialist training requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the efficient running of the Service and participate in the Trust's system of governance and audit.
- Maintain CME/CPD and participate in the Trust's professional development activities.
- Full GMC registration and MRCOG part 2.
- Training in obstetrics and gynaecology of 5 years at SpR grade or equivalent.
- Track record in conducting research, evidence of contribution to research, and experience of public presentation and publications.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team, prioritize tasks, and work to strict deadlines.
