  • Hourly Rate: £17.72 (increasing to £18.45 after training)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in high-value Nimonic, Inconel, and Nickel Alloy material fabrication. This includes welding of sheet, tube, and section together, following customer drawings and specifications.

  1. TIG welding with precision and accuracy
  2. Fully inspecting welds to ensure compliance with Aerospace standards
  3. Utilizing hand and air tools for assembly and finishing processes
  4. Working from detailed customer drawings and job specification sheets
  5. Completing necessary job route cards and batch sheets correctly
Requirements
  • Prior experience in TIG welding, preferably in the Aerospace, Defence, or MOD sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to perform delicate welding techniques on thin gauge material (0.5mm thickness)
  • Strong understanding of customer drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
  • Experience inspecting own work to required quality standards
