Precision Fabrication Technician

• Hourly Rate: £17.72 (increasing to £18.45 after training)
• Overtime, Bonus Scheme, Holidays: Generous benefits package, 33 days holiday, 7.5% pension

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating high-value materials using TIG welding techniques. This includes working from detailed customer drawings and specifications, and fully inspecting welds to ensure compliance with Aerospace standards.

1. TIG welding with precision and accuracy
2. Fully inspecting welds to ensure compliance with Aerospace standards
3. Utilizing hand and air tools for assembly and finishing processes
4. Working from detailed customer drawings and job specification sheets
5. Completing necessary job route cards and batch sheets correctly

• Prior experience in TIG welding, preferably in the Aerospace, Defence, or MOD sectors
• Demonstrated ability to perform delicate welding techniques on thin gauge material (0.5mm thickness)
• Strong understanding of customer drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
• Experience inspecting own work to required quality standards
