The National Cybercrime Threat Response Specialist role at UK Police Digital Services offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to take on a leadership position in our Cyber Threat Intelligence and Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day tactical and operational delivery of threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and malware analysis, ensuring the highest level of effectiveness in mitigating cyber threats against the UK policing community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber threat intelligence, experience in managing and coordinating the cyber threat response to cyber incidents, and excellent knowledge of adversarial cyber actors and their TTPs.

The role also involves providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on complex cyber issues, developing and implementing effective threat response strategies, collaborating with internal teams to deliver national and bespoke cyber threat support, and briefing senior stakeholders and the wider policing community on the current threat landscape. To succeed in this position, you will need strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, you must have a deep understanding of the current cyber threat landscape and be able to analyze and interpret complex information to inform strategic decisions.
