Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Coordinator to join our team at Wiltshire Council. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team to support vulnerable families and promoting positive outcomes.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the delivery of our family-based approach, ensuring that the needs of all families are met. Your expertise and dedication will drive positive change and shape a brighter future for those in need.

The ideal candidate will have a social work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and experience in a leadership or supervisory role. A level 4 management qualification is preferable, along with at least 3 years' experience of working in children and families' social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable families
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the delivery of the five 'Every Child Matters' outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and council policies
  • Collaborate with other teams and agencies to achieve shared goals and objectives

Estimated Salary: £51,418 - £53,741 per annum
