Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our Indirect Procurement team at Leonardo UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Facilities Management and Storage & Records Management categories, with a focus on delivering optimum cost and value for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
  • Develop and manage procurement projects, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and service implementation
Requirements
  • Proven experience in category management, procurement, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges
