Job Title: Flexible Community Podiatrist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Podiatrist to join our team in Hertfordshire. As a Flexible Community Podiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality wound care services to patients across West Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced NHS environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training and supervision packages, as well as mentorship and line management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-risk wound care services to patients across West Hertfordshire
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
  • Develop and implement wound care plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • BSc Degree in Podiatric Medicine or Diploma (if qualified prior 1991)
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Certificate in local anaesthesia
  • Postgraduate courses/education in Advanced Podiatric Practice/Diabetic Foot Module
  • Experience of working at a band 6 level or above and evidence of working with a high-risk caseload
  • Experience of multidisciplinary and interagency working
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced NHS environment
