Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team in Norwich.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a senior management role within a nursing home. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that residents receive excellent care.
  • Assume full management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Contribute to pre-admission assessments of residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their care plans are up-to-date.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in nursing, preferably with experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar senior management role.
  • The ability to engage with residents, their families, and external care professionals to understand their needs and provide excellent services.
  • Good knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
