You will also need to have several years of staffing experience within paediatrics and evidence of competencies achieved to move to a Band 6.

You will need to have mentoring experience with nursing students and one-to-one teaching of junior staff, as well as the ability to demonstrate a commitment to professional development. You will also need to have a good understanding of the clinical governance agenda, experience of undertaking the audit process, and health, safety, and risk awareness.

We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, has excellent communication and leadership skills, and is committed to ongoing professional development.
