About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Skills Trainer to join our team at SaluteMyJob. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to work with vehicle mechanic learners in a full-time, remote role.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in the vehicle mechanic field, good understanding of work-based learning programmes, and relevant industry-related qualifications.

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + benefits package.

Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences to vehicle mechanic learners.
  • Coach, assess, and support learners to achieve their apprenticeship goals.
  • Monitor and review learner progress in line with customer expectations.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed to the correct standard and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide portfolio building advice and guidance to learners based on programme requirements.
Requirements
  • Essential Experience:
  • Considerable experience in the vehicle mechanic field.
  • Good understanding of work-based learning programmes.
  • Previous experience in the defence sector (desired but not essential).
  • Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry-related qualification (Vehicle Mechanic minimum Level 3).
  • Maths and English – GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
