About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced social worker to join our Safeguarding Adults team at West Sussex County Council. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in assessing risk and determining whether further enquiries are necessary under the Care Act 2014.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with agencies including the police, fire service, and health to assess risk and determine the need for further enquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a successful approach to Safeguarding Adults in West Sussex, working closely with the team to ensure best practice.
  • Provide professional supervision and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and evidence-based practice, ensuring that our social workers have the skills and knowledge to deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents.
