We are seeking a highly skilled PBS Practitioner to join our team, responsible for promoting quality of life outcomes and reducing restrictive practices in our Adult Residential services.

As a PBS Practitioner, you will work regionally with our teams to develop proactive strategies and positive quality of life outcomes, ensuring the voice of the adult remains central to all input.

You will inspire and support teams to reduce restrictive practices, develop effective working relationships with colleagues, families, and external professionals, and contribute to organisational learning and sector practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing PBS plans to promote quality of life outcomes
  • Providing support and guidance to PBS Coaches and teams
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Supporting the development of reflective practice and analytical skills within teams

Requirements:

  • Positive Behaviour Support qualification, such as CAPBS Coaches Award
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner or similar PBS coaching role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt styles to suit audience
  • Driving License and access to a car
  • Ability to travel throughout UK
