Job Title: PBS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled PBS Practitioner to join our team, responsible for promoting a good quality of life within our Adult Residential services.

About the Role

As a PBS Practitioner, you will work regionally with our Adult Residential services to inspire and support teams to reduce restrictive practices through the development of proactive strategies and positive quality of life outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the voice of the adult remains central to all input with individuals and their teams.
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, families, and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people, and adults.
  • Support PBS Coaches and teams to creatively capture outcomes and contribute to organisational learning and sector practice.
  • Champion PBS values within Keys Group and ensure governance processes are adhered to in all support provided to PBS Coaches and teams.
Requirements
  • Positive Behaviour Support qualification, such as CAPBS Coaches Award.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner or a similar PBS coaching role.
  • Proven experience of achieving improved quality of life outcomes and reductions in restrictive practices through the coaching of teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt styles to suit audience and engage others.
  • Driving License and access to a car.
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexibly, including some overnight stays as required.
