Job Title: PBS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled PBS Practitioner to join our team at The Keys Group. As a PBS Practitioner, you will play a vital role in promoting a good quality of life for adults with learning disabilities in our residential services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working regionally with our Adult Residential services to promote a good quality of life within our homes. You will support adults with concerning behaviour in a holistic and supportive way, ensuring that their voice remains central to all input.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, families, and external professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for adults.
  • Support PBS Coaches and teams to creatively capture outcomes and contribute to organisational learning.
  • Champion PBS values within The Keys Group and ensure governance processes are adhered to.
  • Contribute to the PBS Coaches Network and facilitate practice-related training as needed.
Requirements
  • Positive Behaviour Support qualification, such as CAPBS Coaches Award.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner or a similar PBS coaching role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt styles to suit audience.
  • Driving License and access to a car.
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK.
Desirable Criteria
  • Qualification in Health and Social Care Management.
  • Qualification in Education and Training.
  • Degree level qualification in a health or social care field and/or significant relevant experience.
