Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nursing professional to join our team as a School Nurse in Essex. The successful candidate will work within our Healthy Child Programme, providing assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of packages of care to support the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

You will be responsible for working alongside SCPHN School Nurses and other multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a comprehensive range of services, including health assessments, parenting support, and health education. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be required to demonstrate leadership skills, providing mentorship and support to colleagues and pre-registration students on placement within the service. SCPHN training is available, and regular safeguarding supervision will be provided to ensure your ongoing development and protection of vulnerable individuals.
