Care Assistant Role in Essex

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as personal care, mobility, and mealtime assistance.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary, with opportunities for career progression and professional development. You will receive comprehensive training, including a work buddy system, to ensure your success in this role.

The successful candidate will be flexible and able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. Previous experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.

Salary Details

Hourly rate: £11.00 per hour, plus 50p p/h night and weekend enhancement. Estimated salary: £23,046 - £25,040 per annum based on 37 hours per week.
